UNITED WAY DAY OF CARING HELPS OUT IN GARDEN

The Greater Moncton and South-Eastern New Brunswick United Way has been helping not-for-profits for years with their Day of Caring.  This June 10 nineteen volunteers from the Town of Riverview and the Fairmont Hotel Call Centre came to Pedvac to help us work in our expanded Community Garden and to clean our 6,000 square foot building.  They built nine 8 by 4 garden boxes to be used by anyone in the community who would like to rent one for a nominal fee.

We also planted our food bank garden.  Well first we had to drain some of it.

We made tags for the expanded rock garden, built a long path, and cleaned Pedvac from top to bottom.  Thank you to everyone who helped including some community members!
