Gift Certificates For PEDVAC Boutique For Christmas

Hello There,

Vivienne here with a quick update just in time for Christmas.  As we reflect over the past year, there are so many people who have crossed out paths.

The idea of gift giving has in some cases become so extravagant and commercialized that the obvious value of something small and meaningful has almost disappeared.

This year won’t you consider supporting a worthy charity like PEDVAC which does so much for so many in need in our region and beyond? There are folks in need all year round, but especially at this time of year who, even with our prices well below the competition, cannot afford to purchase perhaps some housewares, even a warm winter coat or our famous mittens made from recycled sweaters.

Now available right here on our Web site (you can use your credit card via PayPal) or in person from the PEDVAC office (cash or cheque), we have gift certificates for purchase in denominations of $10, $25 or $50.

Lupin Quilt and Craft Fair

There is nothing to compare with the beauty of a handcrafted quilt.

At the Lupin Quilt and Craft Fair there are more than 200 quilts and hooked mats for sale or on display from all over the Maritimes.
Would you like a closer look at this time-honoured tradition? Quilting and hooking demonstrations give you a chance to see how it’s done. Take a break for refreshments then wander among the craft booths where you can choose a handmade gift for someone special.

This fair has showcased some of the most talented quilters in our region. Make this the year to come and see for yourself!

The 30th annual fair will be open from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday July 2 and from 11 am to 4 pm on Sunday July 3. The fair is held at 33 Moore Rd., Port Elgin, New Brunswick, Canada. Follow the signs posted on highways.
Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for students, under 6 free. There is a canteen and a playground available.
For the vehicle enthusiasts there is also the 2nd Annual Lupin Car show being held on Sunday July 3 from 1 to 4 on the same grounds. No admission fee.
